Chain selection for mining is driven by duty, not size alone. Useful details are:

material being conveyed and maximum particle size
load per metre and chain speed
centre distance and number of sprockets
ambient temperature, dust and washdown exposure
lubrication access and maintenance interval

Materials and standards

Materials: 40Mn carbon steel as standard; SUS304, SUS316, SUS318 and SUS420 stainless steel for corrosion or washdown duties; nickel and zinc plated chains on request.

Standards: ISO 606, ANSI B29.1 (A-series) and DIN 8187 (B-series). Non-standard chains are made to drawing or sample.

Supply and lead time

Standard sizes are held in stock and ready to ship. Custom chains are produced in 10 to 30 days depending on the specification. Annual export volume is around 1,000,000 metres of roller and conveyor chain.
