Concrete batching plants, asphalt plants, lifting equipment and earth-moving machinery all rely on chain drives that tolerate dust, vibration and shock loads. What to tell us when specifying

For plant and earth-moving duties the operating environment matters as much as the load:

material handled and maximum lump size
load and chain speed
centre distance, incline and number of sprockets
dust, grit and water exposure
indoor plant or outdoor site use, and maintenance interval

We will recommend the series, attachments and sprocket arrangement from that.

Materials and standards

Materials: 40Mn carbon steel as standard; SUS304, SUS316, SUS318 and SUS420 stainless steel for corrosion or washdown duties; nickel and zinc plated chains on request.

Standards: ISO 606, ANSI B29.1 (A-series) and DIN 8187 (B-series). Non-standard chains are made to drawing or sample.

Supply and lead time

Standard sizes are held in stock and ready to ship. Custom chains are produced in 10 to 30 days depending on the specification. Annual export volume is around 1,000,000 metres of roller and conveyor chain.
