Motorcycle Chain and Sprocket Supply

UIB Chain supplies drive chains and matched sprockets for motorcycle and powersports applications, alongside our industrial roller chain range. Chains are produced to ISO 606, ANSI B29.1 and DIN 8187, in carbon steel as standard and in stainless grades on request.

Specifying a motorcycle chain

The fastest starting point is the chain already on the machine. Tell us:

chain size, or the machine model and year
pitch and link count taken from the old chain
front and rear sprocket tooth counts
sprocket bore, bolt pattern and fixing details

If the machine has been modified, send the sprocket drawing instead and we will work from that.

Materials and standards

Materials: 40Mn carbon steel as standard; SUS304, SUS316, SUS318 and SUS420 stainless steel for corrosion or washdown duties; nickel and zinc plated chains on request.

Standards: ISO 606, ANSI B29.1 (A-series) and DIN 8187 (B-series). Non-standard chains are made to drawing or sample.

Supply and lead time

Standard sizes are held in stock and ready to ship. Custom chains are produced in 10 to 30 days depending on the specification. Annual export volume is around 1,000,000 metres of roller and conveyor chain.
